NEW MEMBERS PROCEDURE

Welcome to the Ballarat Dog Obedience Club

ENROLMENT NIGHT - 2nd & 4th MONDAY OF EACH MONTH


1.     ENROLMENT
     6.30pm – 7.00pm
    • Complete New Membership Form
    • Pay Fees. membership categories are: Junior ; Single ; Dual ; Family. Fees are scaled to the time of year you join and are due for renewal on June 30th each yearmore
    • show us your dog's current vaccination certificate (The Membership Officer only needs to view the vaccination certificate to verify current vaccination. You keep the certificate)

NO VACCINATION CERTIFICATE - NO TRAINING

Note: you will receive a copy of the “New Members Handbook – Part 1” & "Part 2" and our monthly club newsletter “Puppy Tales” . A copy of our club’s constitution can be viewed or downloadewd on our web site - view

2.     ORIENTATION & DVD      7.00-7.15pm. (approx 10 min) . A video followed giving a brief overview of our club and some basic rules followed by discussion/questions.


YOUR FIRST SUNDAY


1.     BEFORE CLASS
     9.45am - 9.55 am
         
COLLECT YOUR TRAINING BADGE (from membership officer)
              NO TRAINING BADGE - NO TRAINING

2.     ASSEMBLE AT THE CLASS SIGN ON THE OVAL     10.00am
           This is normally class 1. If you have a puppy, assemble at the "P" sign

Note:
All children under 12 years MUST be supervised by their parent or a responsible adult who must be present for the whole class.

Obedience classes are 10 am to 11am each Sunday, except for long weekends and other designated days when the club hosts trials and competitions.
NON TRAINING DAYS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THIS WEB SITE
